Qualification Details

This SafeCert Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) is a qualification which is specifically designed to enable users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, to casualties with breathing difficulties. This award covers the basics such as knowing the guidelines for the safe use of oxygen and how to administer oxygen.

The award has 2 learning outcomes as follows:

  1. Understand the principles of administering oxygen in an emergency
  2. Be able to administer emergency oxygen in an emergency

This award is usually completed in minimum of 3 hours teaching and has one unit.

This very practical course will enable your learners to be competent in the administering of emergency oxygen.

The qualification is valid for 3 years and all learners will be assessed for their practical skills as well as their knowledge in the form of a multiple choice question paper.
